How to Make Your Own Homemade Facials with Oatmeal

There’s no reason to spend money at the spa for a facial that you can make for yourself with ingredients in your kitchen. The best facials use only natural ingredients. Here are a few oatmeal based facials that will help cleanse and moisturize your skin.

First grind up half a cup of dry oatmeal in your coffee grinder or food processor until it is smooth and powder like. Set this powder aside and prepare a separate bowl with a quarter cup of plain yogurt and a few tablespoons of honey. Blend all ingredients into a paste.

Spread the mixture onto your face, taking care to avoid the skin around your eyes. Use a warm wet washcloth to remove this mix after around fifteen minutes. That feels nice now doesn’t it?

The next recipe we have to share includes two tablespoons of cooked oats and a tablespoon or plain unflavored yogurt. Now stir these two together taking care to mash the oats well.
